Gray Street Workshop + expo !

Gray Street Workshop invites you to an exhibition of new works by its partners and tenants. Come and see how a wild idea is transformed into a tangible object. The materials, the techniques, the time, the passion and the process. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to visit Adelaide's internationally renowned contemporary jewellery workshop nestled in the heart of the city.
Artist talks and demonstrations between 2pm and 5pm Sunday 12th of August only.
Exhibition dates: 2th August till 26th August
Gallery hours: Friday and Saturday 11am - 5.30pm, Sunday 11am to 4pm
Open Studio Sunday 12th August 11am to 5pm

Molly does America - at Gray Street Workshop

The gorgeous Molly Gabbard is gracing us with her exciting insights into the history and current contemporary jewellery scene in America. Thursday 21 June - details below.

MOLLY DOES AMERICA!...AT GRAY STREET WORKSHOP Gray Street Workshop’s resident Fulbright scholar, Molly Gabbard from Indiana, USA is presenting a talk on Jewellery in America. This is a chance to gain some rare insights into the history and current contemporary jewellery scene in America. Molly received a prestigious Fulbright scholarship to work at Gray Street for 12 months with the aim of researching the representation of animals in Indigenous art, endangered native wildlife in Australia, and to undertake a mentorship with Catherine Truman. Molly has an exciting, fresh and energetic approach to life and jewellery, so please join us for this informative and entertaining artist talk.  Come enjoy some culture, wine and nibbles ! Next Jewellery SA get together will be at the JamFactory Metal Studio Friday 22 June at 6pm.

Again, there is no agenda for this meeting, but we always love to share any news, upcoming exhibitions, exciting info and general jewellery thoughts.

We'll be indulging in a pot-luck curry dinner so please bring something to share if you can - a curry, a condiment, eager cutlery - rice and papadams will be provided - and please bring something to drink.
